DESCRIPTION:Doors 10pm // Admission £6 \nAdv tickets: https://www.seetickets.com/event/the-modern-strangers/kasbah/1288120 \nFollowing on from the band’s debut EP ‘Meltdown Mechanics’ released in June this year\, The Modern Strangers have been working on tracks in LA with their producer Gordon Mills Jr\, just after signing a publishing deal with BMG\, coming back and hitting stages across the UK on their first tour\, a plethora of festivals (such as Latitude\, Isle of Wight\, Standon Calling and The Great Escape amongst others) to their first European dates\, supporting Flor\, including shows in Paris\, Berlin and Amsterdam (along with a headline set for Gibraltar’s National Day celebrations). \nFronted by brothers Max & Archie Davenport\, the 5 piece Tunbridge Wells band first sprang to life in the autumn of 2016 off the back of debut single ‘Vanilla’\, earning them early support from BBC Introducing in Kent and BBC Radio 1. They spent 2017 releasing seminal singles ‘Hot Rain’\, ‘Margarita’ and ‘Coco Hello’ in the midst of a busy summer of shows\, winning new fans eager to hear more from their incendiary live set. Last year saw them play over 17 festivals\, including Leopallooza\, Y Not\, and Secret Garden Party\, along with a slot on the BBC Introducing stage for the Katy Perry headlined Radio 1’s ‘Big Weekend’. \n \nThe Rushmore hail from Leamington Spa an Electro pop Indie outfit that have recently been signed to 4Real Records. \nThere sound derives from  broad  influences\, such as The Cure\,  Years and Years\,  DJ Shadow\, Led Zeppelin\, Thievery Corporation\, and Coldplay. \nRecently performing sold out gigs throughout the UK they have been hailed as the one of the best bands to see live. \nCurrently writing and recording there new eargerly awaited 2nd Album the band have asked Matt Waddell (14 Records ) to produce and Record for what will no doubt be a huge success. \n
