After a 10 week refurbishment, over £1 million and much anticipation The Kasbah finally opens its doors on Saturday 24th November 2007. Done in a traditional Moroccan theme the design brings together the key elements of individuality and style. A new and stylish exterior under which the heart of The Colosseum still beats on. Welcome back to all our old friends...we hope you like what we've done with the place. To all our new customers...come in,relax and enjoy. Think lanterns...think ornately framed mirrors...think luxurious velvet drapes....think Kasbah.

After well over a decade of providing the most frontline entertainment of Coventry, the venue formerly known as the Colosseum has undergone a major facelift and re-plumbing. What now stands is bigger, better, faster and stronger than could ever have been possible. The ethos is the same, as is the dedication to providing the most fun club nights in the city and the commitment to staging live music from the local scene and all around the world. The regular Poptastic on Mondays and Groovy Garden on Saturdays are going are even better than before, there's some great live shows up and coing and there will be some fantastic nights but we will get back to them in a minute.

The first thing that will impress is the new look and style of the venue and we hope you will agree this works well with the name. From the front doors, throughout the whole building it's all more spacious and eye-catching, the toilets are a pleasure to use and just wait til you see the 'Beer Garden'. This will be of the most 'atmospheric' outdoor places anywhere with other-worldly furnishings, flame features, Moroccan palm trees and plants - drinking under the moonlit, starry sky will never be the same again.
